Washable markers
White coffee filters
Cups of water
Paper plates or paper towels
Straw

Directions
Choose one marker per coffee filter. Color away.
Fold the coffee filter in half, another fold making a 1/4 all the way to an 1/8 fold.
Get a short glass of water. Placing the cone tip into the water. Just the tip needs to be in water.
Let it sit and watch what happens as the water begins to flow up the paper.
After the water has reached the outer edge of the coffee filter, place it on a paper towel to dry.

The density of the egg is higher than the density of water, so it sinks. ... When enough salt is added to the water, the saltwater solution's density becomes higher than the egg's, so the egg floats.
