Materials

  • 1 bunch of celery

  • Water

  • Small container

Directions

  1. Use a large, sharp knife to cut off the bottom of your bunch of celery about 2 inches from the base. Store the celery stalks until you're ready to eat them and save the base.

  2. Place the base of your bunch of celery in a small container filled with about an inch of water. Place the container in a bright area that is out of direct sunlight.

  3. Watch the celery grow. It should start to sprout in a day or two. Change the water every couple of days, and make sure the dish doesn't dry out.
