Homemade Fruit Leather

Ingredients

  • 3 cups strawberries

  • 1 tbsp honey or agave

Directions

  1. Remove the stems from the strawberries and place them in a blender. Drizzle a bit of honey or agave if you want to sweeten them up a bit. Blend until smooth.

  2. Pour the strawberry puree onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Use a spoon or spatula to spread the mixture in a completely even layer.

  3. Set the oven temperature to 250F degrees, and bake the fruit leather for 2-3 hours, until it is dry to the touch, and no longer sticky.

  4. The fruit leather will feel stiff when it comes out of the oven. Allow it to sit at room temperature to soften, about 2 hours.
