Homemade Salt & Flour Paint

Painting is so much more fun when you make your own paint. Grab flour, salt & food coloring and go to town with your creative energy.

Materials

  • 1/2 cup flour

  • 1/2 cup salt

  • 1/2 cup water

  • Liquid food coloring

  • Plastic bags

  • Squeeze bottles

Directions

  • Blend flour with salt

  • Add water

  • Mix into smooth

  • Divide into 3 sandwich bags

  • Add a few drops of food coloring to each bag

  • Squish up inside bag. Add more water for thinner paint (optional)

  • Transfer paint into squeeze bottle

  • Squeeze paint away!
