Write Letters to Our Troops
Kids can write a letter or draw a picture to send to military overseas. Letters are distributed to deployed troops, veterans, new recruits & wounded heroes.
Suggested topics/tips
Start with a generic salutation like “Dear hero” or “Dear brave one”
Express thanks for their service
Avoid politics
Share a little about your interests - sports, the weather, movies, music, etc
Do not include your address or last name
No glitter or confetti
Send multiple letters together in the same envelope or box
Don’t put cards or letters in individual envelopes - they need to be screened by the organization before being sent to troops
