Spread joy to kids in hospitals

The goal of the Jared Box Project is to lift the spirits of children in the hospital. Boxes filled with the "gift of play" are given to young patients in emergency rooms, hospital rooms, surgical centers, and clinics. The boxes symbolize the importance of play and are filled with well wishes, hope and love. Over 750,000 Jared Boxes have been delivered across the United States.

8 steps to creating a Jared Box

  2. Decide if the box you are making is for a boy or a girl and select an age group

  3. Select items for your box, such as crayons, card games, puzzles, or stickers. Click here for a suggested toy list.

  4. Print a "Little Note From You" card on white cardstock, write a personal note on the card and place it in the box.

  5. Print the Box Label (top) - Logo. This template can be printed on any standard white shipping labels, six per sheet, 3 1/3" x 4" label size. Place the Jared Box label on the lid of the box.

  6. Print Box Label (side) - Boy/Girl. This template can be printed on any standard white shipping labels, ten labels per page, 2" x 4" label size. Place the Boy/Girl label on the end of the box. Check the appropriate gender and age.
