Olympic Torch Cake Pops

Materials

  • 1 16oz package CandiQuik Candy Coating

  • 1 box cake mix

  • 8oz frosting

  • Orange food coloring

  • Waffle cones

  • 8 red fruit roll-ups

Directions

  1. Prepare and bake cake mix as directed on box, cool.

  2. Crumble cooled cake into a large bowl. Use fingers to mix thoroughly with frosting

  3. Chill for approximately 2 hours

  4. Chop the top of the waffle cones off, so the cones measure approximately 2 ½ in

  5. Roll cake mixture into medium sized balls and chill for 30 min

  6. Melt CandiQuik, stir in orange food coloring until your get your color

  7. Press a cake ball on top of the mini waffle cone. Dip the top into the CandiQuik, allow excess to drip off

  8. Apply the flame-shaped fruit pieces
