Spider Launcher

Materials

• 5 rubber bands (included in your Box of Fun)

• 4 popsicle sticks (included in your Box of Fun)

• White glue (included in your Box of Fun)

• Wide mouth cardboard tube

• Construction paper

• Plastic spiders

• Pencil

• Scissors

Directions

1. Cut the construction paper to fit the tube. Then, wrap it around the cardboard tube and glue it down.

2. Glue the popsicle sticks around the outside of the tube, creating a square. Let the glue dry completely for approximately 1 to 2 hours before beginning the next step. Stretch one rubber band around all four posts. Then, twist each corner of the rubber band and re-stretch it around each post. 

3. Push down the first rubber band. Then, stretch a second rubber band around all four posts.

4. Stretch the first rubber band up and over the second on each post.

5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 two more times.

6. Place a spider in the rubber band web.

7. Aim & shoot away!
