Caroline Lucretia Herschel was a German astronomer who discovered several comets. She was the first woman to receive a salary as a scientist and the first woman in England to hold a government position.
Build a Solar System Plate
Materials
Sun: Slice from a boiled egg
Mercury: Blueberry
Venus: Sliced raspberry for Venus
Earth: Dry apricot
Mars: Sliced strawberry
Jupiter: Slice of apple
Saturn: Slice of kiwi
Uranus: Slice of plum
Neptune: Slice of banana
1 tbsp cream cheese
Directions
Start with sun right at the center
Fill up the cream cheese in an icing bag and pipe out 8 concentric circles around the sun for the 8 orbits
Place the fruit slices to represent the planets
