Homemade Snickers Bars
Ingredients
1 cup marshmallow cream
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup soft caramels
1 cup peanuts
2 cups chocolate chips
Directions
Line a pan with foil. Mix together marshmallow cream and peanut butter to create the nougat layer; spread into a rectangular layer about 1/2-inch thick. Place in freezer.
Melt caramels in microwave in 30-second intervals until creamy. Stir in peanuts and heat for another 30 seconds.
Spread mixture over the nougat layer. Set aside to harden for about 30 minutes.
Melt chocolate and dip each bar until completely coated. Let candy bars firm up in the refrigerator for one hour before serving.
