Fingerprint Snapdragons
Materials
White paper
Green marker
Ruler
Washable paints
Paper plate
Directions
Pick a few colors of paint and squirt a small amount on a paper plate
Use your paintbrush to spread a thin layer of paint. This is what you’ll dip your fingers in. You want the layer thin enough that you don’t have paint going up the sides of your fingers when you dip them.
Use your ruler and green marker to draw a few straight green lines on your paper. These will be your flower stems.
Dip your finger in paint (use two colors at a time for a fun effect) then use your finger to print tiny flower petals up your stem.
Angle your finger slightly towards the top of the paper so your petals are pointing towards the top of the flower.
At the top, make one final fingerprint vertically to create the top of your flower.
Use marker or finger paint to draw leaves on the base of your stem.
