All Cats Welcome by Susin Nielsen. Leonard and Mariposa don't speak the same language, but they would like to become friends. An adorable picture book, filled with bright illustrations, about making new connections. Recommended for infants.

Ali and the Sea Stars by Ali Stroker. Ali, a spirited actress in a wheelchair, creates a local musical, runs the auditions and rehearses the play- until a storm threatens the performance. How can the crew use their imaginations and save the show? A great picture book about creativity and inclusion. Recommended for toddlers.

My Wandering Dreaming Mind by Merriam Sarcia Saunders. A positive spin for all those who struggle with executive functioning, or a dreaming mind. With her parents' help, Sadie and her parents work together to make a strength-based plan. Recommended for elementary schoolers.

Chance to Fly by Ali Stoker. Nat Beacon is obsessed with musicals, but she is not sure if someone in a wheelchair will be cast. Readers will love how she "defies gravity" and tries out for Wicked. Recommended for tweens.
