Eggshell Planters
Materials
24 egg shells
Soil
Seeds (we like this variety pack)
Water
Spoon or small cup
Directions
Set up your eggshells in the egg cartons and fill with the soil.
If using different types of seeds, make sure to separate one set of eggs from another
Push one seed gently into the soil of each eggshell, making sure the seed is covered with dirt
Use a small spray bottle or similar to dampen the soil. Do not over water
Directions
Cut construction paper into one-inch squares. Place each color separately in a container.
Add water to each bowl. Cover the paper completely and allow to soak for 20 minutes
After 20 minutes, squeeze excess water out of the paper. Place paper into food processor & pulse until it becomes pulp
Place the pulp back into container. Repeat with other two colors.
Divide the packages of seeds between the three containers gently mixing them into the pulp.
Take a bit of each color from each container and form it into a ball
Place seed bombs on a parchment lined baking tray, let tray dry overnight
Once dry, toss your flower seed bombs into your favorite flower pot or garden plot
