Cookie Monster Brownies
Ingredients
15 double stuffed Oreos
1 box milk chocolate brownie mix (and eggs, oil & water required to prepare)
1 package chocolate chip cookie dough
Cooking spray
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 tsp vailla extract
3 tbsps heavy whipping cream
2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup crushed mini Oreos
Blue gel food coloring (like this one)
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
1 tbsp light corn syrup
Mini chocolate chip cookies
Edible eyes (like these)
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Take the baking dish and parchment paper and tear off enough parchment paper that fits the pan and comes up the sides
Spray the parchment paper with cooking spray and place the Oreos along the bottom of the pan
Make the brownie mix according to the box and then pour the mix over the Oreos
Take some raw cookie dough and place some scatted on the top of the batter and push down a bit.
Bake in the oven for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean
Make frosting: Using a standing mixer, combine the butter, vanilla, heavy whipping cream and powder sugar and Cream together until stiff peaks form. Add in the crushed Oreos, then blue gel food coloring
Frost cooled brownies
Make ganache: Using a small pot, combine the chocolate chips and heavy whipping cream on medium heat, using a whisk to mix until combined and melted. Add in the corn syrup and let it sit until thickened.
Drizzle the ganache over the cooled brownies and top with edible eyes, Oreos and chocolate chip cookie pieces.
