Demonstrate the power & excitement of voting by hosting a mock election

  1. Pick your subject (anything that’s important to your child): Ideas include best kind of pet, best dessert, best color

  2. Discuss the candidates/options - pros and cons of each

  3. Create a ballot & ballot box (download ballot template here)

  4. Designate a private voting booth or area

  5. Vote

  6. Distribute “I Voted” stickers
