At Baking History we believe that ‘When it comes to education, the most important thing is appetite’ (Winston Churchill).

Our classes mix learning about historic events with the fun of baking and tasting. Each lesson begins with historical story-telling, in the course of which a dish from that same era or event, is introduced. As children consider and discuss issues related to the story, including its relevance to their own lives, they learn a recipe and get hands-on with the ingredients.
