Easy Surprise Cake

Delight your munchkins with this sweet surprise

Ingredients

• 2 boxes white cake mix + all ingredients listed on box

• 1 containers vanilla frosting

• 3 cups mini M&Ms

• 3/4 cup rainbow sprinkles

Directions

1. Prepare both cake boxes with two 8-inch round cakes (to have four total)

2. Cool cakes 10 minutes

3. Flatten layers by trimming off rounded tops

4. In 2 layers, cut a 4-inch round out of the center (use a round cookie cutter, we like this set)

5. Assemble your cake. Place one uncut cake layer on the plate or cake stand. Spread 1/3 cup frosting on top. Add a cake layer with center removed; spread 1/3 cup frosting on top. Top with second layer with center removed; spread 1/3 cup frosting on top.

6. Fill cake with M&Ms and sprinkles. Gently press candies to level; top with full cake layer.

7. Frost side and top of cake with remaining frosting
