Grilled Cheese Roll Ups

Roll, sautee & dip…

Ingredients

  • 6 slices very soft white bread, crusts removed

  • 6 slices American cheese

  • Butter

  • Marinara/spaghetti sauce for dipping

Directions

  1. Flatten each slice of bread with a rolling pin until very flat

  2. Place a slice of American cheese on each of the flattened bread slices and roll each of these up into a tight roll

  3. Smoosh the edge of the bread to the roll to seal (use a couple drops of water if needed)

  4. Heat a couple tbsps butter in a skillet over medium heat

  5. Place the roll-ups in the butter once it’s sizzling

  6. Using a spatula, roll the roll-ups around in the butter. Gently flip and roll until all sides are golden brown and cheese is melty

  7. Serve with marinara sauce for dipping
