Ingredients

  • White cake mix

  • Blue & green food coloring

  • Red frosting

Directions

  1. Prepare white cake mix.

  2. Divide your cake batter into 2 bowls. Color one bowl of batter green and the other blue.

  3. Line your cupcake pan with baking cups. Alternating colors, drop spoonfuls of batter into the cups.

  4. Bake your cupcakes and let them cool.

  5. Cut off the tops & press a small heart-shaped cookie cutter into the center of the cupcake.

  6. Use a spoon to scoop out the cake inside the heart.

  7. Fill the heart-shaped cavity with red frosting.

  8. Replace top & enjoy the sweet surprise.
