Make Rock Art Turtles

A super cute blend of rock painting + clay, courtesy of Crayola

Materials

• Acrylic paint

• Model clay

• Metallic markers

• Rocks

• Craft sticks

• Glue

• Paper plate

Directions

1. Pick a small rock, wash & dry it

2. Paint the rock, let dry, repeat with second coat

3. Use yellow model clay to create head, legs & tail

4. Glue the head, legs & tail to the rock

5. Use light green clay to create shell details, glue to top of the rock

6. Use markers to add accents to the face
