Moon Sand

Moldable like clay, but crumbles like sand

Materials

• 2 cups all purpose flour

• 1/4 cup vegetable oil

• Tempura powdered paint or food coloring (optional)

Directions

1. Combine all ingredients in bowl & stir

2. The texture should feel crumbly, but stick together when squeezed. Add a little more flour if the mixture feels too damp, a teaspoon or two more vegetable oil if not combining well

3. Play away! Hint, cookie cutters, shells and sand molds are super fun with moon sand
